The short version: 314vbc.org does not use advertising, analytics, social-media tracking pixels, or session-replay tools. It stores a small amount of information in your browser only so that features you ask for can work: signing in, the team-store cart, and the scoring and camera tools. Because nothing here is used for tracking or advertising, the site does not show a cookie banner. Maps and social posts from Google, Facebook, and Instagram load only if you press a button on the page.

These items are strictly necessary for features you request. None is used to track you across sites, build a profile, or show advertising.
Content from other companies
Some pages can show a Google map, a Facebook feed, or Instagram posts. Each is blocked until you press its Load button. Loading it connects your browser to Google or Meta, which receive your IP address and device details and may set their own cookies under their own policies. If you never press the button, nothing is requested from them. Links to SportsEngine (registration and payment), Facebook, Instagram, and Google Maps directions open another company’s site, which follows its own cookie and privacy practices.
Fonts, the PDF tools used on the waiver page, and the video player are served from 314vbc.org itself, not from a third-party font or script host.
Server logs
Our website host (Netlify) and the club’s member service record technical request details such as IP address, time, and page requested to deliver the site and keep it secure. See the Privacy policy for how long service records are kept.
Do we need a cookie banner?
Rules such as the EU ePrivacy Directive and several state privacy laws require a choice before non-essential cookies and trackers (advertising, analytics, profiling) are used, while storage that is strictly necessary to deliver a feature you request is generally exempt. Missouri has no separate cookie-consent law. Because this site sets no non-essential cookies or trackers, and third-party content loads only after you click, no banner is shown. If the club ever adds analytics or advertising tools, it will first add a choice that keeps them off until you agree, and update this page.
Your controls
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking the items above will sign you out and empty a saved cart, but the public pages will still work. Because the club does not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of with a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal; the site treats every visitor the same.
